Statement to CSV

Turn bank statement PDFs into a CSV for QuickBooks Online or Xero — and see whether the balances add up before you import.

made-up bank, made-up amounts
CSV format

How it works

  1. Drop the PDF statement exactly as the bank produced it — not a scan or a photo.
  2. The page reads the transaction table and adds every row to the opening balance. If the total does not land exactly on the closing balance, you are shown the first row that disagrees.
  3. Download the CSV and import it into QuickBooks Online or Xero as a bank statement file.

Your statements never leave this computer

  • The PDF is read by this page inside your browser. There is no server that receives it.
  • Once loaded, the page forbids itself any network connection (Content-Security-Policy connect-src 'none'), so it could not send a file even by mistake.
  • Check it yourself: load the page, switch off Wi-Fi, and convert a statement — it still works.
  • No sign-up, no cookies, no analytics.

What it can and cannot read

  • Text PDFs downloaded from online banking, with a transaction table (Date / Amount, Paid out / Paid in, Withdrawals / Deposits and similar) and an opening and a closing balance.
  • Scanned or photographed statements have no text inside and are not supported yet.
  • Always look at the green or red line before importing. Red means the statement and the CSV do not add up — do not import until you know why.
